Erica Cerra's (born 31 Oct 1979) principal role was as Deputy Jo Lupo, in Eureka on Syfy. Cerra is from Italian descent and was born in Vancouver, British Columbia. In her early years Cerra was featured in a variety of advertisements and was drawn to acting. Her acting career was not as successful for some time. In 2001, however, she returned to the industry at 22 years old. Vancouver Lifestyles Magazine recognized her in 2005, as one of Vancouver's 5 hottest up-andcoming actresses. Cerra appeared as her role as deputy Jo Lupo on the Syfy television series Eureka which aired from 2006 to 2012. In 2006, she starred as the lead for the Michael Buble music video Save the Last Dance for Me. Cerra had prominent roles on many well-known and highly popular television shows, including Battlestar Galactica. Also, she has appeared in many major movie releases including Man About Town, with Ben Affleck & Rebecca Romijn as well as Blade:Trinity featuring Wesley Snipes. The face and body of Cerra were utilized to create Ashley Williams, a character in The Mass Effect video game franchise. Other guest-starring appearances comprise Smallville The 4400 The Dead Zone Reaper Huff, and Dead Like Me. Khondabi mentioned that she got married to Joey Scribner Howard, her best friend from high school who has a degree in mechanical engineering within the energy utilities industry. Khondabi and Joey were friends from the time they first met at Greenwood Christian School. The two started dating in their senior year of high-school. Howard completed his studies at Dutch Fork High School in Irmo however, Khondabi and Howard kept in touch. The two began dating. Khondabi, who graduated in 2007, is an Emerald High School graduate and 2011 University of South Carolina graduate with a degree in broadcast journalism. She was a student of sports management and entertainment. Joey is also an USC graduate. Liam is their pet. Khondabi said she believes that Joey and her are both foodies. Her favorite food of her home town is the onion rings served at Dixie Drive-In. Im a curious person Khondabi stated. When I was in the elementary school I was a reporter who did educational interviews for our news program in the school. And I would also be the anchor for headlines each day. Oakland Elementary had a news program known as WOAK. Khondabi stated that her first work as a television news reporter came after college. The station was WAGT which was situated in Augusta Georgia. Khondabi said she was in the news for six years. Following Augusta I worked as a morning anchor for the morning news in Charleston West Virginia at WOWK before moving to Columbus Ohio as traffic anchor as well as a morning news host on The Local ABC as well as FOX affiliates.
